Safe to use when you actually need it.

Usually better to stockpile until there's a good reason to spend it.
🔴 ASK FIRST
Rare, flexible, or difficult-to-replace resources.
💎 Gems
🔴 ASK FIRST — for big purchases
Gems solve lots of little annoyances, which is exactly why they disappear so easily.
Before spending thousands, know what you're buying and why.
🧩 Mythic General Hero Shards
🔴 ASK FIRST
They are valuable because they are flexible.
Don't spend them just because the button is there.
🟣 Epic & 🔵 Rare General Hero Shards
🟢 USE — WITH A PLAN
Use them on Heroes who actually have jobs.
⏩ Speedups
🟡 SAVE
Use some when they help real progression, but remember they can be more valuable when the same spending also earns event points.
General Speedups
Flexible resources deserve extra care.
Use specialized speedups first when possible.
⚡ Chief Stamina / Stamina Cans
Natural Stamina: 🟢 USE
Stored Stamina Cans: 🟡 SAVE
Easy rule.
🔨 Hardened Alloy
🟡 SAVE
Used for Chief Gear progression.
🧴 Polishing Solution
🟡 SAVE
Another Chief Gear resource.
📐 Design Plans
🔴 ASK FIRST
Harder to replace as Chief Gear becomes more expensive.
🪨 Essence Stones
🔴 ASK FIRST
Used for important Mythic Hero Gear progression.
Do not scatter them across random gear.
⚙️ Hero Widgets
🔴 ASK FIRST
Hero-specific investment. Make sure this is a Hero you're deliberately building.
💼 Mythic Hero Gear
🔴 ASK FIRST before sacrificing it
Do not feed good Mythic Gear into something else just because you're not wearing it today.
🎁 Choice Chests
🔴 ASK FIRST
Unopened = options.
Opened = one choice.
🍖 Basic Resource Items
🟢 USE WHEN NEEDED
Open what you actually need instead of dumping the whole Backpack into your city.
💎 Chief Charm Materials
🟡 SAVE
They become relevant when Chief Charms unlock.
🔥 Fire Crystals
🔴 ASK FIRST
Later-game development resource. If you don't know what it does yet, keep it.
📚 Hero Skill Manuals
🟢 USE — ON HEROES YOU ACTUALLY USE
Remember Expedition and Exploration are different jobs.

🟢 USE — ON YOUR CORE TEAM
Do not level every Hero equally.
🍪 The Cookie Double-Dip
The best resource use often accomplishes two things:
- Makes your account stronger.
- Earns event rewards at the same time.
That's efficiency.
⚠️ Don't Paralyze Your Account
Saving does not mean refusing to progress.
Sometimes an upgrade now unlocks something important and waiting costs more than it saves.

Before spending something rare, ask:
1️⃣ WHAT DOES THIS DO?
2️⃣ IS THIS WHERE I WANT TO USE IT?
3️⃣ WOULD WAITING GIVE ME MORE VALUE?
If you know all three answers, spend away.
If you don't:
ASK FIRST.
🚨 FIVE RULES EVERY NEW COOKIE SHOULD KNOW
1️⃣ JESSIE FIRST MEANS JESSIE FIRST.
When joining the appropriate rally, Hero slot #1 matters.
2️⃣ POWER IS NOT THE WHOLE STORY.
Stats, Heroes, skills, troops, formations, and capacity matter.
3️⃣ KEEP YOUR CITY WORKING.
Construction. Research. Training. Gathering.
4️⃣ DON'T RANDOMLY SPEND RARE STUFF.
If you're unsure, ask.
5️⃣ THERE ARE NO STUPID BEGINNER QUESTIONS.
